TClimb Floor – the unique method of lifting post tension floor slabs into position with jacks was used for the first time on this project. In essence the ground floor slab is poured with the next slab poured on top of it & then jacked into position plus or minus ½ mm in 20mins the slab is then fixed in place & the jacks climb through there own holes & the process continues in a 5 day cycle for the next floor. We also used safety catch screens, which climbed up the building at the same time as the slab’s lifting protecting workers from falling.which the client fell in love with.
