The brief was to make alterations & additions to this existing home as follows – Add an ensuite to the master bedroom, increase laundry size, extend living room, re design a new kitchen & replace the existing decks & make larger, re paint the entire home. Budget – $250,000
This was a rather messy alteration & addition to the existing home, as parts of the original home were being redesigned on all levels & in different corners of the home etc. We discovered that the existing deck connection to the existing home was rotten so the entire decking system ended up being replaced. The aim was to modernize the home & make it more livable in all areas, which we achieved successfully while enhancing the great views out over Palm Beach.
We engaged Karl Majurey as our architect for alterations to our house at Miro Road, Palm Beach. The alterations included extending the lounge over an existing deck, new decks, new kitchen, laundry and toilet and the addition of an ensuite. Karl completed all the plans and drawings, obtained the necessary consents and oversaw the work. We were extremely pleased with Karl’s ideas and thoughts for the alterations. Permits and consents were promptly obtained.
